AMMAN —Al Ghad— Jordan ranked 4th in the World Bank regional inbound remittance (money transfer) monitor, issued recently based on International Monetary Fund (IMF) balance of payments data, among countries of the Middle East and North Africa, at USD3.8 billion in 2015, right after Egypt, Lebanon, and Morocco, respectively.

According to the operations director in one the world’s largest money transfer companies, Express Money, Saudi Arabia ranked first on the sender list to Jordan, at a total in 2015 of USD1.468 billion, transferred to Saudis in Jordan.
