IEC to Address and Resolve Boycott Culture Widespread in Jordan

AMMAN — Chairman of the Independent Elections Commission (IEC), Dr Khaled Kalaldeh, stated in an open forum, held at the international affairs society in Amman, on the upcoming election and the new elections law, attended by head of the society and a number of political, academic, and media figures, that the IEC is working on end to address the widespread culture of boycotting the elections by some of the political segments of the electorate spheres and parties, whom have endured 23 years under the weight of the single vote system, and that the Commission has received and is considering more than 103 suggestions in regards to this particular issue.
