Israeli Occupation Injures 1 Palestinian in West Bank, Others Detained

AMMAN — One Palestinian living in Jenin refugee camp was injured early Wednesday by Israeli occupation soldiers fire, according to Palestinian sources.

According to Palestinian sources, the citizen was injured during violent confrontations with the occupation troops, who stormed the camp and used live rubber bullets and tear gas canisters against the locals.

Confrontations between Israeli soldiers and the Palestinians also erupted this morning in Hizma village northeast of the occupied city of Jerusalem, during which the soldiers extensively used rubber bullets, toxic gas against the locals. No injuries were reported.

Also on Wednesday, Israeli troops arrested a Palestinian women at the Abu Ar-Reesh military roadblock, close to the Ibrahimi Mosque, accused of carrying out stabbing attacks against Israeli soldiers.

Three other Palestinian citizens from Halhul town north of Hebron were also arrested by Israeli soldiers, who erected military barriers at the entrances of Ethna village and Al-Fawar refugee camp.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation soldiers demolished today three homes belonging to Palestinians in Khirbet Um Al-kheir east of Yatta south in the West Bank city of Hebron.

Palestinian sources said that Israeli forces stormed the area pre-dawn and forced the residents to evacuate before tearing their houses down.

Following the destruction of the Palestinian homes, Israeli soldiers scuffled with the citizens in the area, local sources added.
