RAMALLAH — Israeli occupation forces early Sunday arrested 16 Palestinians from various West Bank cities during raids on Hebron, Nablus, Bethlehem and Jenin, and erected military barriers at the entrances of refugee camps, towns and villages of Hebron, blocking Palestinian students and teachers from reaching schools, according to the Palestinian Prisoner's Club.

The Palestinian Directorate of Education said in a statement that Israeli soldiers erected a number of military barriers at the entrance of Fawar refugee camp, searched the citizens’ vehicles, and checked their IDs, thus delaying movement of students and teacher in their first scholastic year.

Israeli troops have also set up another barrier at the entrance of Kharsa village southwest of Hebron and began searching female students obstructing them from reaching their school.
