AMMAN — The government Friday increased the prices of oil derivatives, but kept unchanged the price of a cooking gas cylinder, according to a decision announced by Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Yarub Qudah.

The decision was taken by the government's pricing committee under the monthly review of fuel prices.

The committee set the price of unleaded 90-octane gasoline at JOD0.575 per litre for October, down from the September price of JOD0.555, while unleaded 95-octane gasoline will be sold at JOD0.745 per litre, instead of JOD0.720 and diesel and kerosene was priced at JOD0.435 per litre, up from JOD0.425.

The price of a cooking gas cylinder was fixed at JOD7, according to the amendment, which will be effective Saturday.
