Settlers Storm "Joseph Tomb" in Nablus, 15 Palestinians Arrested across West Bank

RAMALLAH — The Israeli occupation forces early Tuesday, arrested 15 Palestinians from various West Bank cities, according to a Palestinian source. And in Nablus, Jewish settlers stormed the so-called Joseph Tomb east of the city under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces.

The Palestinian Prisoner Club said in a statement that the clashes broke out between Palestinian youths and the occupation forces that raided a number of Palestinian homes in the cities of Jenin, Jerusalem, Qalqiliah and Nablus, during which they arrested 9 Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem and 6 others in the West Bank.

Occupation forces also closed down 36 metal workshops claiming they were used for manufacturing weapons.

Palestinian official in charge of the settlement file in the northern part of the West Bank, Ghassan Douglas, said in a statement that hundreds of Jewish settlers stormed the area and performed provocative Talmudic rituals.

He added that clashes broke out between Palestinian youths and the occupation forces that provided protection to the settlers.
