AMMAN —Al Ghad— Representative House Speaker Atef Tarawneh intervened in Tuesday’s House session denying that journalists and photographers were obstructed under the dome, and reasserted that “journalists and photographers have the right to do their job as they see fit”, stressing that the role of the media is parallel and equally important to the monitory dynamic.

This, following the spread of captured clips of paper exchanged between members of the House and the Cabinet, and published online, comes after the house initiated several measurements to indeed obstruct the work of photographers under the dome, in what seems more like revenge than anything else.

In response, photographers and journalists left their posts and suspended coverage of the Parliamentary sessions.
