AMMAN —Al Ghad— Head of chambers and Saudi Representative at the Jordan-Saudi Business Council, Dr Hamdan bin Abdullah Samrin, during an interview with “Al Ghad”, Saturday, uncovered an expected USD3 billion in joint ventures between the two kingdoms within the coming few months.

Saudi Arabia is Jordan’s first economic partner with a commercial exchange scale over USD5.3 billion in 2014, with Jordanian imports to the Saudi kingdom comprising 14 per cent of total domestic exports, and imports from the neighbouring kingdom comprising a total of 20 per cent of imports into Jordan.

Total Saudi investment in Jordan has exceeded USD10 billion, so far, across different sectors, prime of which are transportation, infrastructure, energy, and the Financial sector, among other industries.
