Amman —AlGhad— Chicken egg prices have increased over the month, compared to the first half of December, 2016, by close to 30 per cent, due probably to increased production levels caused by cold weather, farmers and merchants explained, seeing an increase in prices from JOD2.5 per box to JOD3.25, after a previous increase from JOD2.2 to JOD2.8 per box.

Chicken egg production decreased from the 90 million monthly median of eggs produced to 87 million.
