AMMAN — Lawmaker, Tareq Khouri, Wednesday said that his remarks were misinterpreted, as an insult to Arab Army, expressing his pride in the Kingdom's Armed Forces and security personnel, stressing at the same time that their sacrifices and duties are mostly appreciated and recognized.

Khouri said in a statement that speaking about the alliances in the region and their impact on the Kingdom, does not mean an insult to former Egyptian President Mohamed Mursi, or current President Abdel Fattah Sisi.

"Our national unity and loyalty to our leadership and security agencies has always been a model in the region," Khouri said.
