AMMAN —AlGhad— The National Centre for Human Rights (NCHR) made a statement today, Wednesday, calling upon the State to restore regards to the public opinion and refrain from pursuing measures, economic and security-wise, that would worsen public perception of the government.

The Centre also reiterated the importance of bridging the gap between the public and the State, by addressing the public’s priorities and sustain minimal approval of policy.

Among issues highlighted in the NCHR’s communique, the Centre underscored the importance of safeguarding constitutional rights, as well as the vitality of establishing transparent national dialogue on comprehensive, economic, security, and social agendas.

Last but not least, the Statement focused on the principle of maintaining institutional separation of authorities.
