King Calls to Revisit ‘Army Retirees Association’ Role and Structure

AMMAN —AlGhad— His Majesty King Abdullah II, upon meeting with the Prime Minister, Dr Hani Mulqi, and Director of the Association of Army Retirees and Veterans, retired Maj Gen Ahmad Ajarmah, today, Tuesday, at the Basman Palace in Amman, reiterated the importance of revisiting the Association’s roles in economic and social development.

His Majesty underlined the vitality of advancing retiree rehabilitation to enter the labour market and providing technical and advisory support, in addition to facilitating whatever is needed for them establish and expanding the Association’s productive projects.

In order to make that possible, the King reaffirmed that He will direct the government and the Armed Forced Command to allocate the necessary support.

The meeting was attended by Head of the Royal Hashemite Court, His Majesty’s Advisor on Affairs of National Security, Chief of the General Intelligence Department, and Joint Army Chief of Staff.
