Inbound Expat Remittance Down 2.4% in 2016

AMMAN —AlGhad— The total value of inbound remittance over the year 2016 dropped by 2.4 per cent to JOD2.628 billion, compared to the year before, 2015, according to the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ).

In the last quarter of 2016, remittance went up by 2.7 per cent, compared to Q4-2015.

Meanwhile, on a monthly basis, inbound remittance fluctuates due to the fluctuation in the US Dollar.
