Famous Jihadist from Zarqa Dies in Terror Attack in Mosul

AMMAN —AlGhad— The terrorist group ISIS, aka Daesh, announced today, Saturday, the death of famous Salafi Jihadist leader from Zarqa, Jordan, known as ‘Abul Yaman al-Ordoni’, Amer Dmour, in an attack he carried out against Iraqi army forces in Mosul.

Iraqi forces have been trying to liberate the city since October 2016.

In 2011, Dmour was released from the custody of Jordanian authorities, after being arrested over a speech he gave presiding a Salafi Jihadist convention in Zarqa. His arrest entailed considerably violent resistance, and was later known as the “Zarqa Events”.

The Jihadist leader then took to join ISIS in Iraq, despite holding a PhD in Islamic Sharia, only to be announced dead today.
