DEAD SEA — The first preliminary meeting of the 28th Arab Summit kicked off at the Dead Sea area on Thursday with the participation of senior officials of the Economic and Social Council of the Arab League.

Secretary General of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply Yousef Shamali said in remarks that potentials, location and resources of the Arab nation prompt us to boost economic cooperation as well as investments.

On inter-Arab trade, he said it falls short of the aspiration of Arab peoples and called for removing hurdles that face Arab trade.
