Treasury Bonds, Notes Down 14%

AMMAN —AlGhad— The total value of Treasury bonds and notes issued by the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) for the government over the first 3 months of the current year, 2017, has dropped JOD150 million from the value registered for Q1-2016, approximately 14 per cent, from JOD1,1 billion to JOD950 million.

The most recent offering for Treasury Bonds by the 29th of March, 2017, stood for JOD75 million, at 7.24 per cent interest for 10 years.
