Jordan Sponsoring Anti-ISIS Frontier in Syrian South

CAPITALS —AlGhad— According to the Arabic international newspaper headquartered in London, Asharq al-Awsat, Jordan has been sponsoring battles against the terrorist group, ISIS in the Syrian south, leaders of factions within the Southern Frontier say.

The Natf base, near the Kingdom’s border, is being used now as ground zero for the underway expansion of anti-ISIS operations in the Syrian south, says Col Mohannad Tallaa, in cooperation with the Global Coalition.

Western intelligence sources have also confirmed to Reuters that joint US-British units are working to expand the Natf base to platform the Syrian Southern Front.
