AMMAN —AlGhad— Despite unpredictability of Jordan’s economic situation, given the suspension of trade and transport east and north of the Kingdom, a recent World Bank (WB) report says, Jordan’s economic growth rate is expected to slightly recover to 2.3 per cent in 2017.

On the mid-term, according to the report by the WB’s Economic Monitor for the MENA Region, the next few years (2017-2019) should see GDP growth in Jordan at 2.6 per cent, slightly up with the new business environment reforms enacted.
