Extremist Settlers Storm Joseph Tomb in Nablus

RAMALLAH — Hundreds of extremist settlers on Thursday stormed what they claim to be "Joseph Tomb" east of Nablus city northern of the West bank, under the protection of the Israeli forces.

The Palestinian official in charge of the settlement file in the northern part of the West Bank, Ghassan Douglas, said in a statement that dozens of Israeli military vehicles stormed the eastern part of the city at dawn and spread around the tomb amid unprecedented security measures.

"Snipers were also positioned on rooftops to pave the way for the extremist settlers to enter the site", the officials added.
