Investments in Aqaba Worth USD1.8b in Chemical Complex, Industrial Zone

DEAD SEA —AlGhad— Informed sources at the World Economic Forum (WEF), which concludes its convention today, Sunday, at the Dead Sea King Hussein Convention Centre, uncovered to AlGhad that a number of industrial agreements are currently underway, worth around USD1.8 billion, to establish a chemical factory and industrial zone in Aqaba.

The agreements are expected to be finalised and signed on the side lines of the Forum’s closing sessions today, and will be publically announced soon enough.
