Qatar Extradites Saudi Activist while In-Transit for Political Asylum in Norway

CAPITALS —AlGhad— The Gulf Centre for Human Rights (GCHR) said in a statement today, Monday, that Saudi activist, Mohammad Abdullah Oteibi, and his wife, were extradited back to Saudi Arabia by Qatari authorities right before boarding for Norway, in hopes of attaining political asylum.

Notably, Oteibi was arrested the first time in 2009, and remained in prison until the year 2012, when he was released in January.
