Security Council to Hold Session on Yemen Tuesday

NEW YORK — The United Nations Security Council Tuesday will hold a session on the situation in Yemen, during which the special UN envoy to Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed and the Head Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA ), Stephen O'Brien will brief the council on the latest developments in the war-torn country.

The session will also discuss Ould Cheikh's efforts over the past few weeks to bring the Yemeni parties back to the negotiating table, while O'Brien will highlight the humanitarian situation in Yemen, including outbreak of cholera.
