King Meets Saudi Monarch after Umrah, Discuss Ties, Region

AMMAN —AlGhad— His Majesty King Abdullah II left Jordan, earlier today, Tuesday, for to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, to perform Umrah, the lesser Islamic pilgrimage to the Holy City, and to meet afterwards with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia.

The King’s meet with the Saudi Monarch will feature talks on strengthening Jordanian-Saudi ties and an exchange of views on recent developments in the region.

His Royal Highness, Prince Faisal bin Hussein was sworn as Regent before His Majesty and the members of the Cabinet.
