RJ Flies Over 1 Million Passengers in First 4 Months of 2017

AMMAN —AlGhad— The Royal Jordanian Airlines (RJ) scored positive operational results for the first four months of the current year, 2017, compared to the figures of the same duration in 2016, including better passenger and air shipping occupancies.

The General Director and CEO of the Royal Jordanian, Capt Suleiman Obeidat, stated that RJ has transported around 1.01 million passengers by end of April, 2017.

According to his statement to the press today, Wednesday, the occupancy growth rates of the airlines have grown by nearly 45 thousand travellers, or 5 per cent, over the first third of the year.

Seat occupancy rates have increased, Obeidat says, on average from 64 per cent to over 70 per cent, whereas shipping rates have increased by 11 per cent.
