Palestinian Killed by Occupation in Clashes, 10 Arrested in West Bank

RAMALLAH — A Palestinian citizen was shot dead Tuesday dawn by Israeli police during violent clashes which erupted in the town of Kafr Qasim, inside the Green Line, when Israeli occupation forces stormed the town and detained a Palestinian youth.

In other towns throughout the West Bank, occupation forces arrested 10 Palestinians amid, according to a Palestinian source.

The Arab Higher Committee of representatives of Palestinian citizens inside the Green Line held Israeli authorities responsible for the violence, and called for a general strike in all Palestinian communities in Israeli territories on Wednesday.

The committee also called for the resignation of the officer of Kafr Qasim Police Station and Chief of Israeli Police Roni Alsheikh.

Additionally, the Palestinian Prisoner's Society stated that the occupation forces raided the cities of Jenin, Salfit, Bethlehem and Hebron and arrested 10 Palestinians.

The Israeli army launches arrest campaigns on a daily basis against dozens of Palestinians in various cities and villages of the West Bank under various pretexts.
