AMMAN —AlGhad— The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquity has failed to place the Jordanian city, Salt, on UNESCO’s World Heritage list, with the hopes that maybe next year, the Ministry may succeed.

However, the Minister, Lina Annab, has avoided admitting to this a failure, in regards to “what happened” in Poland.

Alternatively, it seems the Ministry’s report, which was submitted to the UNESCO respective body this year, was short of sufficient.

Accordingly, the Minister herself had confirmed the lack of expertise and specialists to tackle the short aspects of the report.

Meanwhile, UNESCO has given Jordan a chance to compete for the listing next year, according to the Ministry; an extension, more or less, to conclude the report.
