Aqsa Mosque to Reopen Gradually as of Sunday Morning

AMMAN —AlGhad— The Israeli occupation authorities said that the Aqsa Mosque complex will be open tomorrow morning, Sunday, for prayers, and that the reopening will be gradual.

Occupation forces enforced a full lock-down in the Mosque’s vicinity yesterday Morning, Friday, in the aftermath of an armed clash, which saw the martyrdom of three Palestinians.

The clash left two occupation soldiers dead.

Meanwhile, the Jordanian government blamed the occupation authorities for the rising tension in Jerusalem, in a statement, recently, denouncing the lock-down.

According to the statement by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, recurrent provocations by the occupation and militant settlers is driving up tension.

Additionally, Minister Dr Wael Arabyat, said that it is unacceptable, under any circumstance, to prevent the Friday sermon and prayer at the Aqsa Mosque.
