Income from Tourism up 14% to USD2.1b

AMMAN —AlGhad— National income from tourism over the first half of the year, H1-2017, has increased by 14.5 per cent from last year’s first half, to USD2.1 billion, approximately JOD1.5 billion, according to data by the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ).

During the first six months of last year, 2016, income from tourism stood at nearly JOD1.8 billion.
