Jordanian Lawyer Released after 7 months in Egyptian Prison over Photos

AMMAN —AlGhad— The Lawyers Association confirmed to Jordan that the Egyptian authorities are going to release the Jordanian lawyer, Shadi Shabaneh, tomorrow, Monday, after spending 7 months in prison over pictures he took, unknowingly, of the Abdul Naser Mosque, next to the Egyptian ministry of defence.

The lawyer, who was interrogated in custody, had gone on a medical treatment visit to Egypt, 7 months ago, and is scheduled to arrive in Amman tomorrow, at 8PM.
