AMMAN —AlGhad— Palestinians will not enter the Aqsa Mosque through the electronic gates installed by the Israeli occupation forces, and have resorted to praying outside of the mosque in protest, as Israeli police attacked them.

Palestinian officials with the Islamic Awqaf and Mosque Guards partook in these protests, against the continued escalations of the occupational authorities.

Since the closure of the Mosque, fanatical Israeli settlers have been trespassing into the holy site’s campus, under cover of the Israeli authorities.

Clashes have broken out several times since yesterday, Monday, in the vicinity of the Asa Mosque complex of the old city.

Jordanian officials have been warning against such escalation since Friday afternoon, demanding that Israeli authorities stand down.

However, occupation authorities have installed electronic gates at the entrances of the Aqsa Mosque complex, as a enforced security measure.
