OCCUPIED JERUSALEM —AlGhad— Israeli media say that an agreement has been negotiated between the occupation authorities and the occupied Jerusalem Municipality to gradually uninstall the electronic gates, recently placed at the Aqsa Mosque’s entrances.

Instead, the occupation will erect solid barriers to tighten the entrances to the Aqsa complex, and resort to manual frisking instead of the metal detectors.

According to online Palestinian media as well, removing the gates will take gates, until the new method is tested.

The occupation police personnel will be using batons for the frisking, instead of their own hands, says Israeli ‘Channel Two’.

Moreover, Channel Two has also indicated that the Israeli Chief of Police in occupied Jerusalem and the city’s Mayor, Neir Barakat, support this solution.

Meanwhile, no response was given by either one of the parties mentioned by Channel Two, to confirm or deny these supposed proceedings.

For the seventh day in a row, thousands of Palestinians have been holding prayer protests in the close vicinity of the Aqsa Mosque complex every evening.

Hundreds are amass during the day.
