AMMAN —AlGhad— A number of MPs withdraw themselves from the Parliamentary House of Representatives’ session today, Tuesday, chief among them are the members of the Parliamentary Reforms Block, in protest over the Minister of Interior Affair’s statements on the Israeli Embassy incident.

Numerous MPs called to boycott the morning parliament session after Minister of Interior, Ghaleb Zoubi, made his statement.

The MPs said Zoubi’s statements were disappointing and unacceptable.

On his part, Zoubi said, after House Speaker Atef Tarawneh made his opening statement, that the embassy incident is a criminal act, and that the Jordanian youth is the one who initiated it when he stabbed the Israeli employee with a screw driver.

Zoubi insinuated that the Israeli guard was acting in self-defence.

He said that the 17-year old’s attack drove the Israeli guard to open fire.

Moreover, he also said that the government will provide the results of the investigation as soon as it concludes.
