Octane Prices Steady, Diesel, Kerosene Prices Up 3.2%

AMMAN —AlGhad— The oil derivatives pricing committee decided today, Monday, to hold octane fuel prices steady for the upcoming month, and raise the price of diesel and kerosene by 3.22 per cent, or JOD0.015 per litre.

The price per litre of Octane-90 stands at JOD0.65, and the price per litre of Octane-95 stands at JOD0.865, whereas the price per litres of diesel and kerosene will go up to JOD0.48.

Household gas cylinders will remain steady at JOD7.00, even though it costs the government nearly to JOD7.2 now.

Worldwide, the price per barrel of crude oil has increased to USD48.4 on the average for July, compared to USD46.48 in June.
