Clashes in Bethlehem, Injuries Reported, Occupation Arrests 16 across West Bank

RAMALLAH — At least 16 Palestinians were arrested across the West Bank and others injured during clashes in Doha, a town west of Bethlehem, when Israeli occupation forces stormed the town and houses, opening fire at protesting civilians.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a statement that occupation forces stormed the city and then proceeded to raid Palestinian homes in Doha, leading to clashes which broke out between Palestinian civilians and Israeli soldiers, who opened fire, and left a number of Palestinians injured.

Some of the injured were taken to the Red Crescent Hospital in the city, the source said.

In the meantime, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club said in a statement that Israeli soldiers stormed the cities of Hebron, Bethlehem, Nablus, Ramallah and Jenin and arrested 16 citizens.

The Israeli army launches arrest campaigns on a daily basis against dozens of Palestinians in various cities and villages of the West Bank under various pretexts.
