BAGHDAD —AlGhad— Parliamentary sources have confirmed to AlGhad today, Tuesday, that the Iraqi Parliament is going to address the Federal Court on the fate of Iraqi Kurds who participated in the referendum, having not explicitly declared for the central government.

The Kurdish bloc refused to attend today’s parliamentary sessions.

Regardless, the Leadership demanded of the MP Affairs Department and the Legal Committee to disclose the full manifest of Iraqi-Kurdish MPs who officially voted in the referendum, sources confirmed.

Another list of Kurdish MPs who explicitly support the referendum, is being put together, Kurdish MPs say, to be referred to court for legal prosecution.

The Iraqi Parliament has also decided to suspend the MPs memberships until the conclusion of legal proceedings.

Kurdish MPs say the Parliament’s tone is borderline fascist, and that the Speaker needs to tone down a little, in order to reintegrate the Kurdish MPs.

Pro-referendum Kurdish MPs underlined that they have returned to attend Parliament “given that they are still Members of Parliament, with jobs and tasks to do”.
