Minister: 18k Students in Vocational Collages by End of 2017

AMMAN —AlGhad— The Minister of Higher Education Dr Adel Tweisi told AlGhad today, Sunday, that the influx of student to vocational collages has increased to 18 thousand in 2017, by nearly 2,257 students.

Notably, around 34 per cent of the 2017 Tawjihi graduates have not had luck enrolling at public universities.

Meanwhile, Dr Tweisi highlighted that the vocational education encouragement campaign seems to have had positive impact on the education trends.

Demand on vocational education has been increasing, whereas college students enrolled in the university bridging programme has declined by nearly 5 per cent, the Minister underlined.
