RAMALLAH —AlGhad— Israeli occupation troops on Wednesday arrested 16 Palestinians in various West Bank cities, according to a Palestinian source, and demolished at least two Palestinian homes in the occupied city of Jerusalem.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Centre, monitoring Israeli violations in Jerusalem, said in a statement that Israeli troops and bulldozers ran two houses down in Issawiya town and Shuafat.

According to the monitor, the houses the occupation authorities tore down were allegedly built without permits.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Prisoners Society confirmed that Israeli soldiers stormed the cities of Hebron, Bethlehem, Ramallah, Salfit, Qalqilya and Jenin and arrested 16 Palestinians.

The occupation launches arrest campaigns on a daily basis against dozens of Palestinians in various cities and villages of the West Bank under various pretexts.
