AMMAN —AlGhad— In a report on developmental progress in Jordan, the World Bank (WB) said that the recent reforms in the water and energy sectors, domestically, are “satisfactory”, both in terms of progress and general execution.

The WB had provided Jordan with a USD250-million soft loan under the new development policy section, Jordan’s second energy and water reforms loan.

The developmental goal of the programme is to increase financial soundness and energy efficiency in both sectors.
