Palestinian Martyred, 3 Injured in Jenin Clashes, Occupation Special Ops Officers Injured

RAMALLAH —AlGhad— One Palestinian youth was martyred by Israeli occupation troops gunfire and three others were injured in the Jenin Refugee Camp clashes, which broke out Thursday morning between Palestinians and occupation forces, Palestinian sources confirmed.


Israeli media say two Israeli special operations officerss were injured in the overnight raid which led to the martyrdom of Jarrar.


The Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a statement that occupation soldiers forced their way inside the house of Ahmed Nasr Jarar, 22, and shot him dead, after he resisted using an automatic weapon.

Director of the Red Crescent ambulance in Jenin Mahmoud Saadi said in a statement that the three young men were injured in their spine during the clashes in the camp.


The injured were taken to Al-Razi Hospital and are in critical condition, he added.


Meanwhile, Israeli media reported that the Palestinian martyr participated in the assassination of an Israeli rabbi near Nablus last week.


Palestinian sources have confirmed that occupation troops were informed of the Jarrar’s identity and his alleged participation in the assassination, leading them to his house.


The identity of the informant(s) remain unknown to the public and the media.
