AMMAN — The Jordanian government, on Wednesday, condemned yesterday's terrorist bombing in the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi, which killed 34 people and injured dozens after two cars went off in front of a city mosque, according to the latest official death toll.

State Minister for Media Affairs and Official Government Spokesman, Mohammad Momani, said the Jordanian government condemns and rejects such acts of terrorism aimed at fuelling violence among the Libyan people and obstructing any international effort to stabilize the country.

He denounced as "horrific" this terrorist attack on a place of worship and targeting innocent worshipers, reiterating Jordan's call for joint regional and international efforts to eradicate terrorism.

Momani added that the government reaffirms its full support for Libya to restore stability, expressing condolences to the Libyan government and the families of the victims.
