AMMAN —AlGhad— Multiple sources have confirmed to AlGhad today, Thursday, that the Iraqi government has yet to implement the decision to exempt Jordanian products of customs and duty fees, which was ratified by the Iraqi authorities last month, in December 2017.

The Ministry of Trade and Supply have already established contact with the Iraqi authorities to address the matter, sources speaking under the condition of anonymity confirmed.

Evidently, the Jordanian government is still waiting on the Iraqi counterparts’ reply, which is supposed to come in today, Thursday.

Notably, more than 370 Jordanian products are exempt of Iraqi customs according to the Iraqis’ decision last month.
