RAMALLAH —AlGhad— Israeli occupation forces arrested 30 Palestinians earlier today, Tuesday, in Al-Issawiya village, in occupied Jerusalem, including of children, sources confirmed to Jordan News Agency Petra.

In a statement today, the Palestinian Society Prisoners' Club said that occupation forces also stormed the cities of Bethlehem, Qalqilya, Nablus, Tulkarem, Ramallah, Jenin and Hebron in West Bank, detaining 26 Palestinians.

Meanwhile, groups of extremist settlers stormed the Aqsa Mosque compound in Jerusalem, Director of the Islamic Awqaf and Aqsa Affairs, Sheikh Azzam Khatib said.

Khatib told Petra’s reporter in Ramallah that today's raid by the extremist settlers was carried through al-Magharebah Gate and under heavy protection of Israeli special-forces and police.

The extremist settlers provocatively toured the Aqsa yards, Khatib added.

All detainees were transferred to detention centres across Jerusalem and the West Bank, the source added.
