NABULUS —AlGhad— An Israeli occupation settler near the Ariel settlement in Nabulus, north from Jerusalem, was stabbed by an “unknown” assailant, who after stabbing the settler was chased by an Israeli occupation army officer, but got away.

The officer told Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth he had hit the assailant, but he escaped anyway.

The identity of the assailant remains undisclosed, even though the officer said a bag was retrieved from the scene, containing some of his personal belongings.

Occupation police and military forces have begun screening the area in search for the “unknown” assailant.

Very little information is known as of yet.
