Injuries in Clashes with Occupation in Jenin, 15 Palestinians Arrested across West Bank

RAMALLAH — A number of Palestinian citizens early Sunday suffered suffocation due to inhaling tear gas fired at them by Israeli forces in Fahma village, near Jenin city in the West Bank, a Palestinian source said.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation troops on Sunday arrested 15 Palestinians in various West Bank cities..

A statement by the Palestinian Red Crescent Society said that Israeli troops stormed the village of Jenin, causing violent clashes to erupt between Palestinian youths and the occupation soldiers, leaving a number of the residents suffocated.

Also today, Israeli occupation forces erected a military barrier between Jenin and Nabulus, and started stopping, searching Palestinian passing cars and checking ID cards of drivers and civilians, the statement added.

The Palestinian Prisoners' Society said in a statement that Israeli soldiers stormed the cities of Hebron, Bethlehem, Tulkarem, Nablus, Ramallah, El-Beira and Jenin and arrested 15 citizens under the pretext they were wanted by the occupation authorities.

The Israeli army launches arrest campaigns on a daily basis against dozens of Palestinians in various cities and villages of the West Bank under various pretexts.
