PM Razzaz Announces Gov’t Formation, Royal Decree Ratifies

AMMAN —AlGhad— A decree was issued today, Thursday, by His Majesty King Abdullah II’s Royal Court ratifying Prime Minister Omar Razzaz’s selection of members of his new government, which he announced today, comprised of 28 ministers.

Members of the new Cabinet performed the Constitutional Oath today, at 1PM.

Following are the names and roles of Dr Omar Razzaz’s Cabinet:

-          Dr Omar Razzaz: Prime Minister

-          Rajae Mouasher: Deputy Prime Minister

-          Ayman Safadi: Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs

-          Adel Towaisi: Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research

-          Hala Numan Bseiso: Minister of Social Development

-          Mousa Habes Maaytah: Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs

-          Samir Murad: Minister of Labour

-          Mahmoud Shayab: Minister of Health

-          Yahya Kesbi: Minister of Public Works and Housing

-          Nayef Fayez: Minister of Environment

-          Walid Masri: Minister of Transport and Municipal Affairs

-          Majd Shwaikah: Minister of Public Development

-          Lina Annab: Minister of Tourism and Antiquities

-          Khalid Huneifat: Minister of Agriculture
