Premier delivers letter from King to Yemeni president

YEMEN - Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour, who is currently on a visit to Yemen, delivered a letter from His Majesty King Abdullah II to Yemeni President Abed-Rabbo Mansour Hadi.

In his letter, the King voiced pride in the strong and historical ties between Jordan and Yemen and stressed Jordan's readiness to place its expertise in various fields at the disposal of Yemen.

Ensour emphasized Jordan's support to Yemen's political process as well as the result of the national dialogue conference. He also voiced hope that the outcome of the conference would contribute to enhancing Yemen's unity, preserving its interests and accomplishments and addressing challenges facing the country.

Jordan, the prime minister said, is keen to forge closer ties with Yemen in various fields to serve the interest of both the peoples.

The Yemeni president expressed appreciation for Jordan's support during the transitional period in his country and for its assistance in rehabilitating the country's institutions.

He also conveyed his greetings to His Majesty the King and his willingness to boost cooperation and coordination between the two countries. (Petra)
