Parliamentary delegation leaves for Cyprus

Amman (Petra) - Lower House Speaker Atef Tarawneh left for Cyprus on Wednesday on a several-day official visit during which he will meet with President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades.

Tarawneh, who is leading a parliamentary delegation, will also hold talks with Cypriot Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides as well as his Cypriot counterpart, the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Foreign and European Affairs and the President of the Cyprus-Jordan Friendship Group.

The House Speaker and the delegates will also visit the Cypriot House of Representatives to have a first-hand-look at the deliberations of the plenary meeting and its discussions in the domestic and international spheres.
