Maha Ali: Exporting Companies To Abide By New Egypt Regulations

AMMAN — Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply, Maha Ali, informed Jordan industry Chambers of the new registration regulations and prerequisites set by Egyptian Authorities to qualify national Jordanian products exported to Egypt.

The new regulations —according to a copy of the document acquired by “Al Ghad” from the Minister of Industry, will be applied starting next Wednesday, and requires various certifications of legal factory statuses and other quality control documents in accordance to either the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC), the International Accreditation Forum (IAF), an official Egyptian organisation, or another official foreign party that is accredited and certified by the respective ministry for foreign trade in Egypt.
