Half a Million Travellers through Queen Alia Airport in February

AMMAN — The number of travellers through the Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) increased to half a million in February by around 11 per cent compared to 450 thousand travellers during the same period in 2015, receiving over 1 million travellers since the beginning of 216.

Moreover, according to the communique issued by the Airport International Group (AIG), the Jordanian company charged with the rehabilitation, expansion, and operation of the Airport, that the QAIA has seen a 12.4 per cent rise in aircraft movement over the last month, with a total number of serviced crafts reaching 5,584 airplanes so far, and 7,979 tonnes in cargo, compared to 6,996 tonnes from last year, increasing by nearly 14 per cent.
