5.1b Euros in Loans to Fund EU Investments in Countries Including Jordan

AMMAN — The European Investment Bank board of directors agreed to fund with new loans, 31 investment projects in Europe and around the world, including Jordan.

The Fund, in a statement today, Wednesday, noted that the loans will be signed off over the next few months, and may include investments in infrastructural sectors in European as well as a number of Arab states.

Moreover, it was underlined that more than 50 per cent of the loans assigned have been allocated at 2.7 billion euros to enable SME accessibility to funding and capital.
